After 23 minutes of play, Cochrane's Marcial Cebrian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Xabier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27thth minute of the game Saturnino Gorka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacras AFC's Braulio Xabier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 minutes, Victor Llope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacras AFC and the Cochrane players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Saturnino Gorka put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Xabier. After 33 played minutes, Cochrane's Saturnino Gorka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Xabier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cochrane reached it. A collision led to Chacras AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gonzalo Giraldo hit a great ball. The supporters of Cochrane booed when Chacras AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chacras AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cochrane were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
