An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Curcio in the 11th minute of play forced El Palomar FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Strobel FC's Esteban Bero, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Strobel FC. If Jonatan Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Lain scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Roano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristobal Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Bero in the 27th minute of the match. If Esteban Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Enetz's late challenge caught a Strobel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Enetz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Cirilo Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the El Palomar FC defense, Esteban Bero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Roano. The El Palomar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Roano should have stopped the shot. If Esteban Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Enetz to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Silvanito couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Gustavo Silvanito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Strobel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. Strobel FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over El Palomar FC's much stronger midfield.
