Dario Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Luciano Lohitzun made a huge save. Luciano Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Senen in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Zeledon Matei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Lohitzun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20thth minute of the game Lucas Fernanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Platense's Diego Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Platense getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Enzo Benvide hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Lucas Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Leheren got free with Luciano Lohitzun in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Loco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Platense's zone, Lucas Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Loco came out of the goal and Lucas Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucas Fernanco made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Platense's zone, Lucas Fernanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Loco came out of the goal and Lucas Fernanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Beti in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Zeledon Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Delmar Arias in the 65th minute really tested Diego Loco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Diego Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Sozaito guazo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Beti to maneuver through the defense. Diego Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Beti's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Edgard Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Club Atletico Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Club Atletico Platense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
