Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Elvio Goito made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Erubiel Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Dalmacio Fiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Naranjito FC's Erubiel Etxekopar got a free kick in the 10th minute. Armando Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Elvio Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Etxekopar in the 20th minute of play forced BOKE's goalkeeper Armando Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, BOKE's Zeledon Frisco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Loi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Elvio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Armando Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Loi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by BOKE's Victorio Primeiro. But to his dismay, Victorio Primeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 37 minutes, Fabricio Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjito FC and the BOKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Naranjito FC's Fabricio Orain got a free kick in the 37th minute. BOKE's Zeledon Frisco got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Naranjito FC! Naranjito FC:s Andres Loi showed great skill when he stopped Eleuterio Cristos:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Frisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dalmacio Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOKE's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Fiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andres Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BOKE's zone, Elvio Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Paez came out of the goal and Elvio Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zeledon Frisco came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the BOKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Frisco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Naranjito FC's Benicio Cresencio got a free kick in the 60th minute. When BOKE's Sergio Llorian, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for BOKE. Sergio Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Loi having to interfere. A hard shot by Ricardo Fernandes from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Armando Paez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 75th minute, Zeledon Frisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Llorian in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Elvio Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sergio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naranjito FC's Erubiel Etxekopar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naranjito FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
