Rodrigo Eate charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Eate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Fumanchester Bichi got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Eate. In the 19th minute, Ernesto Sanchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benevento Calcio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arturo Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes, Benevento Calcio's Guillermo Urtzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geronimo Nesor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Benevento Calcio reached it. After having played for 36 minutes, Ernesto Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benevento Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Gau to make the kick off. Arturo Nastasio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fumanchester Bichi's Simon Kinsen. But to his dismay, Simon Kinsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Benevento Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Gau came free, but Arturo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Benevento Calcio getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Guillermo Urtzi hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Simon Kinsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Nastasio. Benevento Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Kinsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 68th minute Hermengildo Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Leonel Tono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fumanchester Bichi and the Benevento Calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arturo Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Sanchez in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Nesor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. There was no doubt that Fumanchester Bichi were the better team. Fumanchester Bichi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
