An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Dalmu in the 18th minute of play forced Fumanchester Bichi's goalkeeper Geronimo Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Cordeal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Oscar Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, AMSTEL CB's Cosme Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Nesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Dalmu might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Nesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Dalmu ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Dalmu was the one to do the kick off. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
