In the 43rdth minute of the game Hermengildo Nicholas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AMSTEL CB's Cosme Cordeal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

AMSTEL CB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ernesto Sanchez scored to the left of an out of position Cosme Cordeal, making the score, 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Benevento Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Pancho came free, but Arturo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Benevento Calcio's Ernesto Sanchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 80th minute Cosme Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AMSTEL CB's Aurelio Gauargi got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Benevento Calcio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
