The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Orlando Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Orlando Azibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Federico FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eleuterio Mingo hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Alta Joda FC's Florentino Abar threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusebio Quinito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Azibar got free with Florentino Abar in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Froylan in the 20th minute of play. When Federico FC's Valentin Froylan in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alta Joda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guillermo Atarratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Su read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Eusebio Quinito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Florentino Abar to make any attempt to save it. Orlando Azibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Eulalio Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Froylan made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Alta Joda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Formerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Alta Joda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Atarratze fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Alta Joda FC's goalkeeper Adan Su had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Atarratze. Federico FC's Guillermo Atarratze got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonides Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Su was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Froylan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Federico FC's zone, Orlando Azibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Abar came out of the goal and Orlando Azibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Alta Joda FC booed when Federico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Federico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Azibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Abar having to interfere. Florentino Abar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Quinito's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Alta Joda FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
