During the 24th minute of the match Adolfo Rocendo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adolfo Rocendo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Chingolo Juniors's Adolfo Rocendo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Fidel Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Botello in the 30th minute of play forced Chingolo Juniors's goalkeeper Nunez Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fidel Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Goito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafin Pabla's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, BG. Estanislao López's Ciro Jenaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Goito narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Estanislao López booed when Chingolo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Chingolo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Maties. If Fidel Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. In the 93rd minute, Fidel Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BG. Estanislao López had played much better football throughout.
