The audience was convinced that Modesto Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Petri was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN BURZACO's Mario Tercero got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN MARTIN BURZACO's goalkeeper Delmiro Orlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Modesto Abarca struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Lorenzo Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN MARTIN BURZACO. Lorenzo Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Abarca in the 77th minute of play forced Ranchillos's goalkeeper Lorenzo Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ranchillos's Lorenzo Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Matxin in the 78th minute of play.
