After a rather tough play, Chingolo Juniors's Cristobal Urbez got a free kick in the 6th minute. Miguel Etxatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Nunez Goito made a huge save. After 10 played minutes, Ranchillos's Primitivo Mino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nunez Goito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ranchillos reached it. A collision led to Chingolo Juniors getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adolfo Rocendo hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Omar Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Goito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranchillos's goalkeeper Lorenzo Petri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Amancio Padro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lorenzo Petri. Lorenzo Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Sixto Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Miguel Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Bartolome made a kick off. Cristobal Urbez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Omar Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lorenzo Petri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Etxatxu struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nunez Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranchillos. Miguel Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chingolo Juniors getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marciano Salvino hit a great ball. Miguel Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristobal Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Chingolo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Etxatxu came free, but Nunez Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Omar Ermano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chingolo Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Bartolome in the 96th minute of play forced Chingolo Juniors's goalkeeper Nunez Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chingolo Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
