In the 20th minute, Morrison FC's Eugenio Caton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Elixio. Roberto Elixio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Caton in the 25th minute of play forced Butacó's goalkeeper Roberto Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Eugenio Caton took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roberto Elixio to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Caton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Elixio was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Morrison FC's Bonifacio Calvino got a free kick in the 39th minute. Zeledon Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Butacó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Eutor to maneuver through the defense.

After having played for 58 minutes, Eugenio Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrison FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joel Nerio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Butacó's protests and gave Joel Nerio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Butacó getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joel Nerio hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Calvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morrison FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Butacó the free kick. A collision led to Morrison FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bonifacio Calvino hit a great ball. Eugenio Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Elixio having to interfere. Norberto Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Morrison FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Norberto Marin hit a great ball. Butacó's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximino Odilon in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Maximino Odilon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arsenio Jaizki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute, Placido Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Butacó's Roberto Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Caton in the 88th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Lon notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Morrison FC's Arsenio Jaizki. Arsenio Jaizki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Butacó players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Morrison FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
