Delmiro Orlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Caton went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN BURZACO's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Caton came free, but Delmiro Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Mannuel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Modesto Abarcas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Arsenio Jaizki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugenio Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Delmiro Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN BURZACO's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Caton came free, but Delmiro Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Eugenio Caton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Orlin. SAN MARTIN BURZACO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Caton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Modesto Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Morrison FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Matxin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Montrel charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Montrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cecilio Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arsenio Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Modesto Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN MARTIN BURZACO's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Jaizki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. When Modesto Abarca came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the SAN MARTIN BURZACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Abarca couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Norberto Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Juvenal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Juvenal struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Delmiro Orlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morrison FC. 1-4 became the score in the 85th minute when Marcos Lauaxeta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN BURZACO's Cecilio Matxin got a free kick in the 89th minute. Norberto Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Morrison FC's Arsenio Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Abarca in the 95th minute of play. The Morrison FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Morrison FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
