Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Navarro started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Lon got free with Enrique Pello in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmar Jakue struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rompetobillos United. In the 9th minute, Rompetobillos United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Placido Navarro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Butacó's Placido Navarro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Pello. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Placido Navarro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Butacó's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leopoldo Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Enrique Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Lon in the 23rd minute of play forced Rompetobillos United's goalkeeper Enrique Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Butacó's Leopoldo Lon in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Enrique Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Navarro in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Rompetobillos United's Enrique Pello got control of the ball when Placido Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Navarro in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Pello saved Rompetobillos United from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Jakue to make the kick off. If Placido Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Pello came out of the goal and Leopoldo Lon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Nerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Leopoldo Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Placido Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Lon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Pello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Butacó's Placido Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Navarro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. In the 98th minute, Leopoldo Lon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Butacó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Butacó's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
