Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sixto Bartolome made the kick off which started today's match. Roberto Elixio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomas Firmin. If Placido Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lorenzo Petri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Placido Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Placido Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lorenzo Petri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Bartolome in the 18th minute of play forced Butacó's goalkeeper Roberto Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Marcos Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranchillos and the Butacó players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Butacó booed when Ranchillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Quilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ranchillos's Miguel Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Miguel Etxatxu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Butacó's Roberto Elixio. Roberto Elixio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Petri came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó's Placido Navarro. But to his dismay, Placido Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sixto Bartolome was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Ranchillos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Roberto Elixio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Navarro to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Petri made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Leopoldo Lon sent off a good shot on target. Ranchillos's Marcos Quilo got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Marcos Quilo off the ground. After 61 played minutes Ranchillos got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Quilo. Leopoldo Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lorenzo Petri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Lon in the 66th minute. Ranchillos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Placido Navarro 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Placido Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Petri having to interfere. Placido Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Petri having to make a save. Lorenzo Petri came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Butacó's Leopoldo Lon. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Lorenzo Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Leopoldo Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Butacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Petri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Miguel Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
