Urbano Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Tristan in the 53rd minute of play. Feliciano Abella who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Angelino Herena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chaco For Ever's Angelino Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Soter in the 56th minute of play. If Eustaquio Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Anguinán's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Tristan came free, but Urbano Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Anguinán getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gregorio Aznaro hit a great ball.
