With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Lastur in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Fliz saved Cachorros F.C. from getting behind. A collision led to Cachorros F.C. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Narciso Abecia hit a great ball. Tunales's Serafino Gilesindo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cachorros F.C.'s Gavino Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Lastur in the 16th minute of play. Tunales's Serafino Gilesindo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cachorros F.C.'s Benedicto Etxekopar tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, Tunales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Serafino Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cachorros F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pablo Breogan hit a great ball. Matias Leoncio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavino Fliz. Cachorros F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tunales's zone, Ulises Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Velasco came out of the goal and Ulises Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Casimiro Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Lastur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tunales booed when Cachorros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Lastur was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cachorros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Breogan to maneuver through the defense. When Jaime Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cachorros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Lamberto couldn't finish the play. Aldo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Lopez in the 59th minute of play. Gavino Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Lopez struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Aldo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachorros F.C.. Aldo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Faro in the 69th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Vinicio Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Cachorros F.C. got a corner. Tunales's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedicto Etxekopar ran over to the corner to take the kick.
