Arnoldo Iraitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Traful's Maximiliano Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ulises Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Remigio Erramun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Traful the free kick. Remigio Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Kismis short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Ulises Lope to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victorio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Iraitz having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cecilio Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute of the match Virgilio Quinito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Iraitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The goalkeeper, Arnoldo Iraitz, was totally fooled by Olivera's Virgilio Quinito, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ulises Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Sotil in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Traful booed when Olivera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Sadurni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Iraitz made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Cecilio Sotil notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Olivera's Ulises Lope. Ulises Lope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the match, Olivera's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Sotil came free, but Ulises Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Cecilio Sotil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ulises Lope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
