In the 48th minute, Silvestre Tajo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tabaquillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The supporters of El Acuerdo booed when Tabaquillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Monico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Santiago went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Feliberto Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Leonel Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabaquillo's Albano Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Hermon in the 79th minute of play. Silvestre Tajo made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfonso Kaiet. When Ildefonso Clis fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabaquillo's protests and gave Ildefonso Clis a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Tabaquillo got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Clis. In the 89th minute, Anastasio Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Acuerdo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
