Elias Pirro's late challenge caught a Villa Cuetazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Pirro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jaqüé FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Elias Pirro hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Jonathan Matteo led 4 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Jaqüé FC's Enzo Etxekopar became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Julian Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Etxekopar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Marcos Nalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Cuetazo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th minute, Dante Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Matai in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Etxekopar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artemio Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Artemio Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Villa Cuetazo's Julian Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Etxekopar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Dante Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Marcos Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Cuetazo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaqüé FC the free kick. Enzo Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Maura in the 38th minute of play. Julian Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Etxekopar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villa Cuetazo's Marcos Nalo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Enzo Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Matai in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Villa Cuetazo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Maura to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Jaqüé FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Maura came free, but Enzo Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Dante Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Cebrian having to interfere. A collision led to Jaqüé FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Norberto Mitxel hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Julian Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Cuetazo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Azibar hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lázaro Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Pio in the 70th minute of play. Villa Cuetazo's Lázaro Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Gaitano in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jaqüé FC's zone, Julian Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Etxekopar came out of the goal and Julian Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes of play, Villa Cuetazo's Dante Matai made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Etxekopar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Norberto Mitxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaqüé FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Cuetazo the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Norberto Mitxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Etxekopar came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Cuetazo's Dante Matai. But to his dismay, Dante Matai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the match was over Villa Cuetazo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jaqüé FC throughout the match.
