The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. Javier Thomas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Herminio Argeniss short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Edgard Chico to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Barrio Almagro booed when Cuchilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Cuchilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Kinsen came free, but Edgard Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Cuchilla AFC's Melchor Bixintxo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Ekialde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Olando's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Lucio Kinsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Chico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucio Kinsen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla AFC's Lucas Cristofor got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Javier Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Cuchilla AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Argenis. Edgard Chico made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Herminio Argenis sent off a good shot on target. If Lucio Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, one of Cuchilla AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuchilla AFC. The referee gave Barrio Almagro a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baldomiro Deunoro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuchilla AFC's Edgard Chico. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Lucio Kinsen rounded Cuchilla AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Bixintxo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Kinsen in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Chico saved Cuchilla AFC from getting behind. Lucio Kinsen scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Chico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulises Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Bixintxo in the 57th minute. Herminio Argenis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Lucio Kinsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Edgard Chico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgard Chico came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrio Almagro's Lucio Kinsen. But to his dismay, Lucio Kinsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Herminio Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Lucio Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Lucio Kinsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchilla AFC's Edgard Chico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Cuchilla AFC's Melchor Bixintxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Argenis in the 95th minute of the match. Barrio Almagro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cuchilla AFC for a fine match.
