The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Bixintxo got free with Alberto Galindo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Billys's goalkeeper Alberto Galindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Cuchilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Chico having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Los Billys's zone, Diego Olando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Galindo came out of the goal and Diego Olando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Cuchilla AFC's Melchor Bixintxo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Alberto Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Olando in the 28th minute of play. Camilo Txaran hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Eugenio Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Melchor Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchilla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Bixintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Galindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Olando in the 41st minute of play forced Los Billys's goalkeeper Alberto Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Cuchilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Cordareo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cuchilla AFC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Eugenio Asteri hit a great ball. 50 minutes into the match, Los Billys's Ladislao Pelayo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aquiles Mendebal made the kick off in the second half. Amador Ursino kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Eugenio Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchilla AFC and the Los Billys players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cuchilla AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eugenio Asteri hit a great ball. Edgard Chico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Txaran in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Thomas during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alberto Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Los Billys's Alberto Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Olando in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Mendebal in the 77th minute of play forced Cuchilla AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Billys's Ladislao Pelayo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla AFC's Javier Thomas got a free kick in the 94th minute. Edgard Chico made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Camilo Txaran sent off a good shot on target. Cuchilla AFC's Melchor Bixintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cuchilla AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
