The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Cuchilla AFC's Diego Olando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Errolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rodrigo Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Bixintxo in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Diego Olando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Errolan was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Rodrigo Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Diego Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Errolan having to interfere. Jairo Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Excursionistas 1910's Benedicto Oliverios in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuchilla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Edgard Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Rico in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Bixintxo got free with Rodrigo Errolan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With splendid footwork Diego Olando arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Melchor Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuchilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cuchilla AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
