The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Inocente hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Fernan Uxio was a little too slow when Benedicto Oliverios got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jeremias Gervaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rodrigo Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juventud Unida Cordobesa's Jeremias Gervaso got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rodrigo Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristo Xabier fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Excursionistas 1910's protests and gave Cristo Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. 33 minutes into the game, Jeremias Gervaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rodrigo Errolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Inocente, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Gervaso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Oliverios took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Uxio. Fernan Uxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jairo Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Juventud Unida Cordobesa's Fernan Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Oliverios in the 91st minute of play. Jairo Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Inocente was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Juventud Unida Cordobesa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jonas Inocente hit a great ball. Jairo Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Uxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Juventud Unida Cordobesa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
