Hipolito Dayam came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Senillosa's Bruno Eliu. But to his dismay, Bruno Eliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Maximo Urdin fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senillosa's protests and gave Maximo Urdin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Senillosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Urdin to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Bruno Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Dayam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Acuña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Hipolito Dayam made a huge save. Hipolito Dayam came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Senillosa's Florencio Acuña. But to his dismay, Florencio Acuña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Acuña got free with Hipolito Dayam in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Eliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Senillosa's Bruno Eliu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Senillosa booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Senillosa's Florencio Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Acuña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Hipolito Dayam made a huge save. After 44 minutes, Leo Kutnyak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senillosa and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Senillosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Kutnyak to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Odilon got free with Artemio Nuno in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Senillosa's Florencio Acuña in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmitas's goalie prevented a goal. When Placido Roldanillo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Roldanillo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Acuña in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Dayam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bruno Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Emanuel Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Acuña struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hipolito Dayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senillosa. Hipolito Dayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Acuña in the 70th minute of play. Bruno Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Dayam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Acuña's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Florencio Acuña notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Palmitas's Hipolito Dayam. Hipolito Dayam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Acuña in the 87th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Hipolito Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmitas were furious when Celedonio Resto was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 88 minutes into the game, one of Palmitas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bruno Eliu struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hipolito Dayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senillosa. There was no doubt that Senillosa were the better team. Senillosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
