Spectators: 6810 (Terracing: 5150, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melchor Tomi kicked off to start the match. Luis Cordeara charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Cordeara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Cordeara hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Hibai in the 7th minute of play forced Malvinas's goalkeeper Amadeo Nikola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malvinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El triángulo FC the free kick. Saverio Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Zeledon Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Txeru came free, but Amadeo Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El triángulo FC's Hector Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Tomi in the 21st minute of play. Zeledon Hibai scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Nikola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Ismael Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Diaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Zeledon Hibai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Nikola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34th minute Ismael Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amadeo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Hibai in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Nikola saved Malvinas from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas's zone, Zeledon Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Nikola came out of the goal and Zeledon Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Hibai in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Nikola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melchor Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hector Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Malvinas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El triángulo FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Hibai to strike the kick off in the second half. Melchor Tomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Ismael Txeru notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Malvinas's Amadeo Nikola. Amadeo Nikola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amadeo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Malvinas's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Hibai came free, but Amadeo Nikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Frichoso's late challenge caught a El triángulo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Amadeo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Nikola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Hibai's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Zeledon Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of El triángulo FC booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90th play minutes Zeledon Hibai shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Amadeo Nikola and just under the crossbar into goal. Zeledon Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Amadeo Nikola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
