Spectators: 6954 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 1) Arturo Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute of the match, Maximo Justin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hipolito Dayam was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Antiuyo FC's Federico Argenis got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Antiuyo FC's Osvaldo Pedroso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Dayam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Gutxi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Maximo Justin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antiuyo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Palmitas. Anacleto Odilon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anastasio Urtsin. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Antiuyo FC's zone, Patricio Lugo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Urtsin came out of the goal and Patricio Lugo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Arturo Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Dayam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Palmitas's Hipolito Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Mel in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Justin in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Dayam saved Palmitas from getting behind. If Placido Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Justin might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Dayam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Justin ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Urtsin having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Antiuyo FC's Arturo Mel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Dayam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Moise during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raul Moise hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Justin came free, but Hipolito Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Palmitas's Patricio Lugo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anastasio Urtsin. Anastasio Urtsin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of Antiuyo FC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
