Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Tatengue FC's Bruno Liberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Lugo in the 3rd minute of play forced Tatengue FC's goalkeeper Moises Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hipolito Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Quentin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Roldanillo in the 16th minute. Moises Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Lugo in the 18th minute of play. Bruno Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Lugo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Quentin saved Tatengue FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Liberto in the 25th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Hipolito Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Placido Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Lugo to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Tatengue FC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Lugo made a kick off. Patricio Lugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Patricio Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Quentin having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Tatengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Roldanillo came free, but Moises Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Lugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Dayam having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Bruno Liberto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hipolito Dayam, passed just outside the right post. Bruno Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Sol. 80 minutes into the match, Tatengue FC's Leo Lauaxeta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 85 minutes, Jeronimo Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the Tatengue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tatengue FC's Leo Lauaxeta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palmitas. If Placido Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Roldanillo in the 92nd minute of play forced Tatengue FC's goalkeeper Moises Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Patricio Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
