Arnulfo Loramendi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Bernard. BobbyAstro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ceferino Irrintzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Precioso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Zeledon Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Cristobal Bernard managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when El triángulo FC's Zeledon Hibai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When El triángulo FC's Elpidio Inge in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BobbyAstro FC's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, El triángulo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Irrintzi came free, but Hector Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Hibai in the 18th minute of play. Ismael Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Bernard having to interfere. In the 24th minute Mateo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El triángulo FC's Osvaldo Otsoa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristobal Bernard but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, BobbyAstro FC's Vicente Urtsin got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute El triángulo FC were awarded a corner. Osvaldo Otsoa went to the cornerflag to take it. Mateo Beltza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Precioso having to interfere. In the 45th minute Ceferino Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Amancio Salbatore took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hector Precioso to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Ceferino Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Txeru in the 71st minute of play forced BobbyAstro FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, BobbyAstro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Txeru came free, but Cristobal Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Zeledon Hibai put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Bernard. The supporters of BobbyAstro FC booed when El triángulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Beltza got free with Hector Precioso in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Txeru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristobal Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Hibai in the 90th minute of the match. Ismael Txeru might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Bernard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Txeru ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Hibai in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Bernard prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
