The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzo Reyes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mussa FC's Gonzo Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mussa FC from getting a goal against them. Moises Astigar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gonzo Reyes made a huge save. Francisco Berbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Berbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Mussa FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Berbiz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Lucero in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzo Reyes saved Mussa FC from getting behind. A collision led to Mussa FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Everardo Gotzon hit a great ball. Moises Astigar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonzo Reyes came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Astigar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Hilario Jaizki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Jaizki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. A very good chance. The throw-in from Nicanor Umbruso in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mussa FC's Hilario Jaizki. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amaná FC's goalkeeper Hector Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 方钢建 made a kick off. Eusebio Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Reyes having to interfere. When Maximino Etor came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Amaná FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Etor couldn't finish the play. Gonzo Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Astigar in the 68th minute of play. Gonzo Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Astigar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gonzo Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
