Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Berbiz started the match with the kick off. Guaberto Oso made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ovidio Garikoitz immediately put the ball in play. Tobias Gurutz made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mussa FC's Daniel Palben. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Berbiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paolo Steven. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Mussa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mussa FC's goalkeeper Gonzo Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Miranda's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Aimar came free, but Paolo Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzo Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Kauldi in the 31st minute of the match. Gonzalo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Paolo Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Hilario Jaizki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Steven. Hilario Jaizki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Kauldi in the 43rd minute of play forced Mussa FC's goalkeeper Gonzo Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Eugenio Kauldi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzo Reyes. Mussa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Kauldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

Gonzalo Aimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Steven having to make a save. If Hilario Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Jaizki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Steven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Miranda's zone, Francisco Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Steven came out of the goal and Francisco Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Jaizki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Reyes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jeremias Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Paskal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzo Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzo Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Kauldi in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Berbiz in the 90th minute of play forced Miranda's goalkeeper Paolo Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Francisco Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mussa FC had won after a very even match.
