Moises Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Amaná FC were awarded a corner. Natalio Bazil went to the cornerflag to take it. Miguel Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Amaná FC booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amaná FC's Moises Astigar in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Moises Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lucero in the 29th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Efrain Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Ellande took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Estavan. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Lucero to make the kick off. Silverio Ellande succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Moises Astigar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Efrain Rufio made a huge save. Efrain Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Horquilla's zone, Maximino Etor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Rufio came out of the goal and Maximino Etor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Julio Walme fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amaná FC's protests and gave Julio Walme a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Nicanor Umbruso hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hector Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Ellande in the 95th minute of play. Amaná FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
