Aldo Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Gilabert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Salvador Pacifico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Santos Gilabert made a huge save. Santos Gilabert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Pacifico in the 15th minute. After 18 minutes, Hector Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cordoba. After having played for 33 minutes, Aldo Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cordoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santos Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Cordoba getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hector Boniel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aldo Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Gilabert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Heriberto in the 52nd minute of play forced Cordoba's goalkeeper Fabricio Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Boniel charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Boniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Boniel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Mummra Club booed when Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Arias's late challenge caught a Mummra Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Bernard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Heriberto came free, but Fabricio Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Rafel hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Aldo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordoba were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mummra Club for a fine match.
