Cordoba's Fabricio Bernard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Cordoba from getting a goal against them. When Salvador Pacifico came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cordoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Pacifico couldn't finish the play. Esteban Jorrin was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Conhello AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Esteban Jorrin hit a great ball. If Salvador Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Conhello AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
