In the 8th minute, Severiano Omero made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Alonso. Árbol y Raíz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Vtec FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Daniel Reno hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Amador Firme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Federico Pero. Amador Firme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 26 played minutes Vtec FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Costante. Paolo Jatsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Patricio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Árbol y Raíz's Patricio Alonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Costante in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Árbol y Raíz's goalkeeper Patricio Alonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Paolo Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Vtec FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Jatsu couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Cuarto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Árbol y Raíz's Amador Firme got a free kick in the 51st minute. Paolo Jatsus short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Patricio Alonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquin Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Alonso having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Árbol y Raíz's goalkeeper Patricio Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Jatsu. In the 62nd minute, Nunez Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Camilo Bero fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Árbol y Raíz's protests and gave Camilo Bero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, one of Árbol y Raíz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Árbol y Raíz. Patricio Alonso was a little too slow when Paolo Jatsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-3. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Costante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Alonso was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Patricio Alonso was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Paolo Jatsu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Jatsu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. A collision led to Vtec FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Daniel Reno hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, one of Árbol y Raíz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 2-6 came through a penalty shot after 86 played minutes, when Vtec FC:s Mariano Baudelio calmly waited for Árbol y Raíz:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Árbol y Raíz's zone, Paolo Jatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Alonso came out of the goal and Paolo Jatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Árbol y Raíz's Patricio Alonso got control of the ball when Paolo Jatsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Vtec FC's Joaquin Tab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Vtec FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Árbol y Raíz.
