In the 5th minute Timoteo Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carrefour FC's Pastor Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Dalmu in the 10th minute of play. When Carrefour FC's Timoteo Dalmu in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Equipucho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nemesio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Geronimo Argenis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Herrera in the 18th minute of play forced Equipucho FC's goalkeeper Oscar Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Argenis having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Godofredo Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geronimo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Equipucho FC's Hector Cordarell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Argenis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hector Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Herrera in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Carrefour FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Cordarell to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Equipucho FC's Octavio Kaxen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Timoteo Dalmu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Oscar Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrefour FC. Pastor Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Timoteo Dalmu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Oscar Nazario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Argenis having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Godofredo Semeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrefour FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Equipucho FC the free kick. Godofredo Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nemesio Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Argenis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrefour FC's zone, Hector Cordarell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Argenis came out of the goal and Hector Cordarell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Octavio Kaxen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carrefour FC's Geronimo Argenis didn't even have to move. In the 86thth minute of the game Hector Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrefour FC's Geronimo Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Gagriel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Carrefour FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carrefour FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
