Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rolando Heriberto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alejandro Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Heriberto in the 5th minute of play forced Cotita's goalkeeper Alejandro Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cotita's Aureliano Sazon in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mummra Club's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Mummra Club's Santos Gilabert got control of the ball when Epifanio Bras tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes, Angelo Filipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotita and the Mummra Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mummra Club booed when Cotita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alejandro Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Gilabert was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Aureliano Sazon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliano Sazon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With an all-out effort, Cotita's Santos Gilabert threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliano Sazon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But to his dismay, Rolando Heriberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Sazon made a kick off. Aureliano Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Apolo Romelio fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cotita's protests and gave Apolo Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cotita's Apolo Romelio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mummra Club's Osvaldo Osoitz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alejandro Demario but with some difficulty. Alejandro Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Tab in the 64th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Cotita's Aureliano Sazon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Gilabert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santos Gilabert came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Cotita's Aureliano Sazon. But to his dismay, Aureliano Sazon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alejandro Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Heriberto in the 84th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Mummra Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Rafel to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Ermegildo Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Gilabert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cotita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
