The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto Elixio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Lino Olayo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 9 minutes, Eleuterio Berto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Axelgaqu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Berto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Olayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Elixio in the 10th minute. The supporters of MugrososFC booed when Axelgaqu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Axelgaqu's Gilberto Elixio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Olayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, MugrososFC's Nemesio Quin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Eleuterio Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Olayo having to interfere. There was no doubt that Axelgaqu were the better team. Axelgaqu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
