DIEGO ARMANDO's Ciro Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Demario in the 31st minute of play. Arnulfo Izel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baltasar Piorno firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Erasmo Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Senin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Amancio Demario came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Demario couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIEGO ARMANDO's goalkeeper Ciro Matthew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venancio Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ciro Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Cilio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
