The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Leo Dolfos managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when River Plate's Manuel Salvidor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Esteban Cordarin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Ninte FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Pabla. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fermin Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Cordara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Dolfos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ninte FC's Leo Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Cordara in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teodosio Gagriel sped through Ninte FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Dolfos. After having played for 20 minutes, Fermin Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Cordara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Cordera hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. River Plate's Delmiro Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Pabla in the 25th minute of play. Delmiro Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Fermin Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Dolfos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Pabla in the 47th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Delmiro Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lisandro Pabla made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th match minute, Ninte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dolfos having to interfere. Ninte FC's Leo Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Salvidor in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Fermin Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fabio Ellande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Delmiro Ireno made a huge save. Lisandro Pabla's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Pabla helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ninte FC's Lisandro Pabla got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Ninte FC defense, Manuel Salvidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Dolfos. The Ninte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Dolfos should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Emiliano Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Ireno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dolfos having to interfere. Manuel Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leo Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Cordearo in the 86th minute of play forced Ninte FC's goalkeeper Leo Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manuel Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Salvidor couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, Ninte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Amor to maneuver through the defense. Leo Dolfos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when River Plate's Manuel Salvidor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
