The audience was convinced that Simon Txartiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Ireno was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Manuel Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Derwin having to interfere. Delmiro Ireno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodosio Gagriel might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Derwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Gagriel ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Ireno having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Carlos Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reincidentes FC's Ramon Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Salvidor in the 37th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Carlos Caradaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Delmiro Ireno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Carlos Caradaro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of River Plate's Delmiro Ireno. Delmiro Ireno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Caradaro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Reincidentes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Baumer. 55 minutes into the match, Augusto Aznaro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Reincidentes FC's Ramon Derwin. Ramon Derwin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the game, Reincidentes FC's Simon Txartiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Delmiro Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Caradaro in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Armando Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate's Delmiro Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Caradaro in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Baumer in the 73rd minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Delmiro Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Carlos Caradaro scored to the left of an out of position Delmiro Ireno, making the score, 2-4. 81 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Caradaro came free, but Delmiro Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Derwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head. River Plate's Delmiro Ireno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them.
