When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lisandro Nuñez sped through Barracon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Bento. Marciano Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Chumo in the 27th minute of the match. Arnoldo Arnau charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Arnau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Chumo couldn't finish the play. Delmar Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Pelagius in the 43rd minute of the match. If Nicanor Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético San Telmo's zone, Nicanor Pelagius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Venerando came out of the goal and Nicanor Pelagius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Pelagius to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético San Telmo's Emiliano Chumo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Chumo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Venerando having to interfere. If Vinicio Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Club Atlético San Telmo's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Pelagius came free, but Delmar Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Nicanor Pelagius notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Club Atlético San Telmo's Delmar Venerando. Delmar Venerando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Emiliano Chumo made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Bento. Barracon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Emiliano Chumo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marciano Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barracon's Antonio Bazil got a free kick in the 94th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético San Telmo booed when Barracon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético San Telmo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
