Vinicio Jaunzuria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ciro Matthew made a huge save. Ciro Matthew made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Jaunzuria in the 14th minute. DIEGO ARMANDO's Paulo Victoro got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, DIEGO ARMANDO's goalkeeper Ciro Matthew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Jaunzuria. When Nicanor Pelagius came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Barracon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Pelagius couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Nicanor Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Gavino Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIEGO ARMANDO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barracon the free kick. After a rather tough play, DIEGO ARMANDO's Gavino Leguizamón got a free kick in the 31st minute. Nicanor Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Erasmo Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Furman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Arnau struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ciro Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracon. 56 minutes into the match, Nicanor Pelagius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Matthew. DIEGO ARMANDO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Pelagius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Vinicio Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Barracon's Nicanor Pelagius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Matthew narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnulfo Izel came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marciano Bento could save by the left post. Arnulfo Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barracon fans cheered their team off the field, for while DIEGO ARMANDO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
