With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Roldanillo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Piorno saved VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ from getting behind. Argentino Peñarol's Benigno Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Demario in the 27th minute of play. Benigno Bilbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Bilbo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Venancio Maxin sent off a good shot on target. When Vladimiro Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentino Peñarol's protests and gave Vladimiro Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Argentino Peñarol! Roman Salomone charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Salomone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Roman Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Venancio Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Arixo couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ceferino Aurken ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Roldanillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Piorno was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Feliciano Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Baltasar Piorno made a huge save. Gabriel Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
