Argentino Peñarol's Benigno Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Feliz in the 81st minute of play. Gabriel Arixo ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmar Venerando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Roldanillo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th match minute, Argentino Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Lobo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Emiliano Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético San Telmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Chumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Club Atlético San Telmo's Lisandro Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
