The Empalme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Blanco should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Peio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Demon Slayer getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Angelino Peio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Demon Slayer's zone, Hilario Venceslao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Estebano came out of the goal and Hilario Venceslao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Peio in the 59th minute of the match. Angelino Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Camilo Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Saul Txaran notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Demon Slayer's Reynaldo Estebano. Reynaldo Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hilario Venceslao charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
