The supporters of Pikas F.C. booed when Demon Slayer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Modestio in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Estebano saved Demon Slayer from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Angelino Peio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Bertin. Pikas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Peio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Tino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Demon Slayer's Reynaldo Estebano. Reynaldo Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermengildo Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Estebano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pikas F.C.'s zone, Angelino Peio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Bertin came out of the goal and Angelino Peio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lucio Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demon Slayer's Reynaldo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Modestio in the 26th minute of play. Cristobal Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Reynaldo Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Demon Slayer's zone, Hermengildo Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Esdras in the 41st minute of play. Clemente Esdras in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucio Bertin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
