Lucio Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. When Narciso Restu fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pikas F.C.'s protests and gave Narciso Restu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chuchi AFC booed when Pikas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Bertin having to interfere. If Hernan Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Hernan Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Mark in the 31st minute of play forced Pikas F.C.'s goalkeeper Lucio Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Bertin having to interfere. When Hernan Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chuchi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Cruz couldn't finish the play. Conrado Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Matxin's late challenge caught a Chuchi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Pascual Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Pikas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mark came free, but Lucio Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Hernan Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lucio Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermengildo Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Hernan Cruz fired away a shot on goal. A very good chance. Chuchi AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pikas F.C. had won, even though Chuchi AFC had held more of the ball.
