With his leg Gonzalo Kaiet managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Manguaré's Nicasio Telmo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the game, Apolo Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manguaré's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delicias the free kick. 17 minutes into the match, Delicias's Aquiles Harri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th match minute, Manguaré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Iban to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Manguaré got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Huly. If Luisito Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, Delicias's Luisito Eguntsenti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Telo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Delicias's Gonzalo Kaiet got control of the ball when Nicasio Telmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Nicasio Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manguaré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Telmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Telmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gonzalo Kaiet made a huge save. Domingo Telo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Eguntsenti in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Eguntsenti was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Luisito Eguntsenti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Domingo Telo, passed just outside the right post. Nicasio Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Delicias's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Telmo came free, but Gonzalo Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Delicias's Domingo Barto got a free kick in the 64th minute. Denis Atarratze charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Atarratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicasio Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Barto struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Domingo Telo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delicias. Denis Atarratze was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Denis Atarratze hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Nicasio Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Kaiet. Delicias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Telmo in the 86th minute of play forced Delicias's goalkeeper Gonzalo Kaiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manguaré's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Domingo Barto scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Telo, making the score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
