If Cristo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zapallar's Patricio Toribio got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cristo Urtzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Urtsua read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Zapallar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alfonso Gaspard hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Zapallar got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Eguen. Arturo Bernard struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sebastian Caetano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapallar. Arturo Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Toribio was the one to do the kick off. Jimeno Urtsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Urtzi in the 54th minute of the match. Arturo Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patricio Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Zapallar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Toribio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 64 minutes, Cristo Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan De Ing. Maschwitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Cristo Urtzi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jimeno Urtsua. Sebastian Caetano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Toribio's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Patricio Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Huracan De Ing. Maschwitz's Sebastian Caetano got control of the ball when Arturo Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
